Secondary Siren Tamper
Table of Contents
The Secondary Siren has a tamper button on the inside of the siren that will send a tamper signal when the cover for the battery is open.
Most alarm equipment has a built-in tamper switch to deter unauthorized interference. When the panel reports a tamper trouble condition it usually means the sensor casing is loose. This occurs most frequently after changing device batteries.
Troubleshooting Siren Tampering
- Make sure the siren casing is secure.
- Remove and re-attach the cover of the siren.
If the tampering alert persists for your siren after performing the suggested troubleshooting above, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
