Changing Batteries for the Secondary Siren

If you have received a “Siren Low Battery” message on your alarm panel, you will need to replace the battery promptly to ensure the device continues to function properly. Information on how to order replacements can be found in our article, “How to Order Replacement Batteries.”
How to Replace Siren Battery
- Disarm your system before you begin this process.
- Unplug the siren.
- Open the cover on the front of the siren.
- Remove the old battery.
- Place the new CR123A in the designated slot (Pay close attention to the orientation of the (+) of the battery in the siren.)
- Re-attach the cover
- Plug in the siren.
- To ensure that your device is functioning properly, test the siren by arming/disarming the system and verify there is beeping coming from the siren.
