Updating Credit Card to Automatic Checking (ACH)
We are committed to transparency and want to inform you of a new $3 convenience fee that will apply to credit card payments starting in February 2025. This fee helps offset the costs of processing credit card transactions.
To avoid this fee, you can switch to paying via a bank account. Here's how to update your payment method in your Cove Customer Portal:
- Log in to your account here: http://portal.covesmart.com/sign-in/.
- After logging in, select the "Billing" option in the top-right menu
- On the next page, scroll down and click “Add Payment Method.”
- A window will appear prompting you to choose a payment method. Select “Add Bank Account.”
- Fill in the fields to update your bank account information (ACH). Ensure you set ACH as your default payment method.
